Miraval The Red Sea Celebrates Saudi National Day with Experiences Inspired by the Kingdom’s Heritage
Miraval The Red Sea invites guests to celebrate Saudi National Day through a thoughtfully curated program that brings together mindful presence, a deeper appreciation of local culture, and meaningful connection. Set along the Red Sea shores on Shura Island, this adults-only retreat, welcoming guests aged 18 and above, offers a tranquil space to step away from the pace of everyday life and embrace a more restorative travel experience designed to help guests relax and restore balance.
At the heart of the resort’s National Day celebrations is the “Celebrate Balance” experience, available to guests who book their stay between September 20 and 26, 2026. The experience includes a daily credit of SAR 796 per guest, allowing them to choose from a curated selection of experiences and sessions. Rates start from SAR 2,500++ per person per night and SAR 3,500++ per night for two guests.
During their stay, guests enjoy unlimited access to more than 20 daily classes and workshops, while also having the opportunity to use their SAR 796 resort credit to enhance their experience with a selection of additional activities.
Guests can take part in outdoor sessions featuring stories inspired by Saudi heritage and discover the traditions and origins of serving Saudi coffee. The program also includes a comprehensive range of wellness experiences, such as yoga and Pilates, mindful nature walks, breathwork sessions, fitness classes, and creative workshops.
At the Life in Balance Culinary Kitchen, guests can enjoy a hands-on experience inspired by the heritage of Saudi cuisine. They will learn how to prepare sea bass seasoned with kabsa spices and served with whole-grain jareesh, presented with a contemporary touch that reflects the resort’s wellness philosophy. Another experience celebrates the cultural significance of Saudi dates, showcasing them alongside carefully selected nuts, coffee, and exquisite sweets.
Guests can also use their resort credit to enjoy a selection of treatments at Life in Balance Spa, including a luxurious spice-infused body scrub, or take part in adventurous experiences such as the Miraval Challenge Course.
For Saudi National Day, the resort’s culinary experiences take on an authentic local character, with a selection of dishes and flavors inspired by different regions across the Kingdom. The daily buffet at Rosemary restaurant features a curated selection including saffron rice with fried onions and raisins, locally sourced fish prepared in the Hijazi style, Saudi jareesh, chicken kabsa, shrimp machboos, and a variety of salads showcasing local ingredients and flavors.
The pastry team also prepares a special daily selection inspired by Saudi flavors, while Palm Court Café offers a range of light daily options inspired by the tastes of Saudi Arabia. At Coral Cove, guests can continue to enjoy dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
